About Our CLC Facility

Initial planning for our Christian Life Center (CLC) began in January 2006. The church held a vision casting service in June 2006 and had great input from the congregation. The church voted in July 2006 to proceed with the construction of the CLC and to have a pledge drive to help support the cost. Construction began in August 2006 with the demolition of the existing structures that were previously on the property.

The total cost of the CLC project, including the purchase of the property was approximately $470,000. The first major event that was held in the CLC was a New Year's Eve celebration in December 2007. The building was dedicated in January 2008.

By God's goodness, a note-burning service was held on February 24, 2013 as we celebrated the CLC being debt-free!

Greensburg Baptist Church CLC Rules & Terms

It is requested that all who participate in activities in the Christian Life Center (CLC) behave in a manner that is honoring to God. We ask that the following regulations be observed at all times.

NOT PERMITTED
• Profanity
• Alcohol & Tobacco Products
• Weapons or Fighting
• Animals
• Business Related Events for Profit; Political Groups
• Dancing (except celebratory dances, such as father/daughter)

1. An "active member" must schedule the CLC event and must be 18 years of age or older. The individual that schedules or sponsors the event is solely responsible for the payment and monitoring for compliance of these rules and regulations.

2. Greensburg Baptist Church activities take priority over any other event. In the event of an unscheduled activity such as a funeral meal, GBC reserves the right to cancel any activity without prior notice. Weddings will be given special consideration. If the church cancels a prior-scheduled agreement, the church will make a refund to the individual or sponsor.

3. No scheduled events are allowed during Sunday morning or Sunday evening services, Wednesday night services, or any other GBC scheduled program.

4. Only appropriate Christian-based music is allowed.

5. Decorations shall be discretionary and shall be removed at the conclusion of the event.

6. No organization shall schedule weekly or monthly meetings/events in the CLC.

CLC REQUEST

*Cleaning fees due at time of request & are non-refundable.

** Sound equipment must be operated by a GBC sound technician for $75 for up to three (3) hours; $25 for each additional hour. Equipment use may be prohibited if technician is not available.

Requests should be made at least four (4) weeks in advance to make arrangements for the calendar and cleaning schedule. If there is any change or cancellation, please notify Patsy Pruitt (270-932-7582) immediately.

Greensburg Baptist Church is not responsible for any injuries while using the facilities.
